IATP

The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy was founded in 1986. IATP’s mission is to promote resilient family farms, rural communities and ecosystems around the world through research and education, science and technology, and advocacy. It works to democratize the multilateral system of policy-making. It strengthens civil society by linking social movements working on trade, development, peace, human rights, labor, gender, the environment and corporate responsibility. IATP is based in the U.S., and has an office in Geneva, where the Trade Information Project is run.
