Jean-Michel SEVERINO
From 2001 to 2010, Jean-Michel Severino was the CEO of France’s International Development Agency, AFD. After graduating from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, he started his career as Inspector of finances in the French administration. He was previously director in charge of international development at the French Ministry of cooperation. At the World Bank, he served as director for Central Europe and then as Vice President for Asia.
Concord
CONCORD is the European NGO Confederation for Relief and Development. Its 18 international networks and 24 national associations from the European Member States represent more than 1600 European NGOs vis-à-vis the European Institutions. CONCORD leads reflection and political actions and regularly engages in dialogue with the European institutions and other civil society organisations. The main objective of the Confederation is to enhance the impact of European development NGOs vis-à-vis the European Institutions by combining expertise and accountability.

Comité Catholique contre la Faim et pour le Développement – Terre Solidaire
CCFD ranks first among French development NGOs, with 40 millions Euros of annual spending and more than 500 projects supported yearly over 70 countries. Since 47 years, it has acquired a know-how and numerous references based on its experience and dialogue with south and east civil societies. This expertise is used today when it comes to following-up its numerous supported projects or strengthening its local partners. CCFD also raises awareness and undertakes training activities on development related issues, both in France and in Europe.
IPC-IG International Poverty Center
The International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth, formerly the International Poverty Centre, is a partnership between the Poverty Practice of the Bureau for Development Policy, UNDP and the Government of Brazil. Located in Brasilia, IPC-IG facilitates South-South learning with the aim of expanding developing countries’ knowledge and capacities to design, implement and evaluate effective policies towards the attainment of high inclusive growth. IPC-IG is a hub for South-South dialogue on applied research and training on development policy. IPC-IG’s extensive work in this field aims at equipping policy makers from developing countries with the skills necessary to formulate socially inclusive policies and to learn from successful policy experiences in the South. Building up substantive capacity for policy analysis and implementation in the field through South-South learning is one of the services provided by IPC-IG to the development community.
The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP)
The Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy was founded in 1986. IATP’s mission is to promote resilient family farms, rural communities and ecosystems around the world through research and education, science and technology, and advocacy. It works to democratize the multilateral system of policy-making. It strengthens civil society by linking social movements working on trade, development, peace, human rights, labor, gender, the environment and corporate responsibility. IATP is based in the U.S., and has an office in Geneva, where the Trade Information Project is run.
The School of International Relations and Public Affairs
The School of International Relations and Public Affairs (SIRPA) at Fudan University, one of China’s flagship research universities, was established in 2000 to promote teaching and research on public and international affairs. It is home to three academic departments - political science, international politics, and public administration. Affiliated to SIRPA is Fudan University’s Institute of International Studies, which houses nine centers and one research unit for area and global studies. Based in Shanghai, a dynamic metropolis, SIRPA aims at reaching globally. Its faculty members work closely with domestic and international students in seventeen degree programs to prepare them to better serve the world.
GMF - German Marshall Fund - Economic Policy
The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF) is a nonpartisan American public policy and grantmaking institution dedicated to promoting greater cooperation and understanding between North America and Europe. GMF does this by supporting individuals and institutions working on transatlantic issues, by convening leaders to discuss the most pressing transatlantic themes, and by examining ways in which transatlantic cooperation can address a variety of global policy challenges. In addition to its headquarters in Washington, DC, GMF has seven offices in Europe: Berlin, Bratislava, Paris, Brussels, Belgrade, Ankara, and Bucharest. The Economic Policy program is an initiative of GMF dedicated to promoting cooperation between North America and Europe on domestic and international economic policies as vital instruments of global prosperity, especially for the poor and those affected by shifts in the global economy.

Oxfam GB, founded in 1942, is a development, humanitarian, and campaigning agency working with others to find lasting solutions to poverty and suffering. Oxfam GB is a member of Oxfam International, a confederation of 13 organisations around the world, working for an end to injustice and poverty.
Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences-Po)
The Groupe d’Economie Mondiale de Sciences Po (GEM) is an independent think tank. Established in 1998 in response to the increasingly complex implications of globalisation, GEM has initially focused on trade policies. In October 2004, GEM has launched studies on regulatory reforms – a key area in Europe and in the transatlantic and international context, most notably in services. This initiative is jointly developed with the American Enterprise Institute and Brookings, two of the most authoritative sources on regulation in the United States.

Housed at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, the PhD in Sustainable Development is a multidisciplinary program combining elements of a traditional graduate education in social science, particularly economics, with a significant component of training in the natural sciences. WWF: The Global Conservation Organization
WWF is one of the world’s largest independent conservation organizations, with close to 5 million supporters and a network active in more than 100 countries on five continents. Since its creation in 1961, it has maintained a constant record of success. WWF’s Global Conservation Programme covers the full spectrum of conservation activities, both at field and policy levels. Today, WWF funds close to 2,000 projects and employs more than 4,000 people worldwide.
